The holiday season has been doubling as a fundraiser in Doylestown, where the Central Bucks West Band Parents Association opened its annual Christmas tree sale at War Memorial Field, with this weekend being its last before Christmas.
The boosters are offering three varieties — Douglas firs, Fraser firs and Concolor firs — each priced at $90 for 7- to 8-foot trees, according to the group. Larger trees at 10 to 12 feet and concolors start at $120.
The sale will continue until the inventory is gone, with all proceeds benefiting the high school’s band ensembles, including the marching band, concert band and jazz band.
Shoppers will also find wreaths, pine roping and tree stands available on site. War Memorial Field is at 101 Memorial Dr.
Hours for the sale are Friday from 4 to 8 p.m., Saturday from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m., and Sunday from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Additional information, including photos and program details, is posted at christmastrees.band
