Pipe replacement closing Route 152 in Bucks County next week

Construction will affect traffic in Hilltown and New Britain townships and Chalfont Borough

PennDOT announced today that pipe replacement is scheduled on Route 152 (Limekiln Pike/Main Street) in Hilltown and New Britain townships and Chalfont Borough, Bucks County, beginning Monday, Dec. 15. 

According to a news release, from Monday to Friday, Dec 19, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., (Limekiln Pike/Main Street) will be closed and detoured weekdays between Hilltown Pike and Business U.S. 202 (Butler Avenue). 

During the closure, motorists will be directed to use Business U.S. 202 (Butler Avenue), County Line Road, Route 309 (Sellersville Bypass), and Hilltown Pike, according to PennDOT. 

Motorists are advised to allow extra time when traveling near the work area because backups and delays will occur. All scheduled activities are weather dependent.
