In March 2025, Warrington Township Police responded to a fatal overdose involving a 29-year-old male on the 900 block of Easton Road.
In the days that followed, investigators identified Brian Barndt of Warrington as a person of interest and began an undercover investigation, authorities said.
Officers established contact with Barndt, who allegedly offered various narcotics for sale, and learned he was allegedly receiving drug parcels from New York.
In April 2025, police conducted a controlled delivery to Barndt’s residence and executed a search warrant, collecting more than 100 pieces of evidence.
Seized items included a wide range of illegal narcotics and controlled substances, police said.
Investigators also determined that Barndt was manufacturing liquid synthetic benzodiazepines and distributing drugs locally and to customers in multiple states, including California, Massachusetts, and Missouri, according to police.
Barndt was charged with felony possession with intent to deliver, criminal use of a communication facility, drug possession, and possession of drug paraphernalia, police said.
Warrington Police were assisted by Homeland Security Investigations Cyber Crimes Investigations Task Force (C2iTF), United States Postal Inspection Service, the Bucks County District Attorney’s Office Drug Strike Force, and Upper Southampton Township Police Department.
