One vehicle was towed from the scene and its driver transported for treatment of injuries following a 2-car crash in New Britain Township Thursday afternoon at New Galena and Callowhill roads.
A blue 4-door BMW SUV sustained heavy front-end damage in the collision with a large U-Haul truck around 1 p.m. The driver was reported to need rescue from the vehicle following the crash.
Traffic on Callowhill was reduced to one lane. New Galena Road was closed at Limekiln Pike.
New Britain Township Police were assisted at the scene by Central Bucks Regional Police and Chal-Brit Regional EMS.
