Multiple people were inside a vehicle when it sustained a rollover crash in Hilltown Township Sunday night, according to witnesses on scene.
Around 7:30 p.m., a blue two-door coupe was traveling near the 500 block of Hilltown Pike when, according to witnesses, the driver attempted to pass another vehicle on the road and lost control of the car.
The vehicle flipped on its roof and eventually landed upright on a private property on the 500 block of Hilltown Pike, according to witnesses.
Eye witnesses at the scene reported a heavy odor of marijuana coming from the vehicle. One person was observed being placed in the back of a police car after officers conducted a field sobriety test.
Injuries are unknown at this time. At least one occupant was transported to the hospital.
The vehicle sustained significant damage, including damage to the side and a caved in roof.
Emergency responders from Hilltown Police, Hilltown Fire Company, and Chal-Brit EMS responded to the scene.
