Fire units are currently responding to the call of a fire in the Sellersville section (mailing address) of West Rockhill Township.
County dispatch reported that calls were received around 1:45 p.m. on Wednesday, April 23 for the report of a fire in the 800 block of Simmons Road, in Sellersville. The incident was first reported as a car fire near the intersection of Simmons and West Branch roads.
Witnesses report that two trailers on the property are on fire, with content on top of each one burning. As the property has fields of grass edged with wooded lands, units have concerns for the blaze spreading, witnesses said.
Tylersport Volunteer Fire Company and Sellersville Fire Department were called to the scene, among other first responders in the area. The fire was under control quickly.
