This week is full of celebrations from film festivals to spring festivals to a celebration for the National Day of Puppeteering. Plenty of great live music is also on tap this week.


One Lane Bridge will be playing with The VosTones at Puck Live by Great Barn in Doylestown and the Dead Band will be entertaining folks at Troubles End Brewing in Collegeville.


International Festival Foundation will be holding its 36th Annual International Spring Festival at North Penn High School and The Greater Philadelphia Area Puppetry Guild will be hosting a special celebration for the National Day of Puppeteering.


Calling all film buffs! Don’t forget this week continues Philadelphia Film Society’s Springfest, which includes the latest local and international movies.

Also, don’t miss Bridgerton Drag Trivia with Kali Coutour at Gypsy Blu and a special Spanish wine tasting at the Iron Abbey.


Family Support Line also wants you to get dressed up for Evening of Impact: Celebrating a Brighter Tomorrow, a special night of good food and drink at the Llanerch Country Club in Havertown.



One Lane Bridge and The VosTones at Puck Live

 

On Friday, Apr. 25, 7 p.m., One Lane Bridge featuring The VosTones will be playing your favorite hits at Puck Live by Great Barn in Doylestown.

Come out for a night of high energy performances and plenty of dancing.

National Day of Puppeteering Celebration 

 

On Saturday, Apr. 26, The Greater Philadelphia Area Puppetry Guild is hosting a daylong series of performances in honor of the National Day of Puppeteering.

At the Abington Art Center, the whole family will be able to enjoy performances, featured workshops and other activities. The evening social and Just Do It Puppet Slam are for adults only.

Philadelphia Film Society’s Springfest

 

Up until Thursday, Apr. 24, Philadelphia Film Society will be hosting its Springfest with screenings of both local and international independent, critically acclaimed movies at Film Society East.

You can purchase tickets for individual films so be sure to check out what is still on the festival lineup.

International Spring Festival at North Penn High School

 

On Saturday, Apr. 26, 10 a.m., The International Festival Foundation will be celebrating its 36th International Spring Festival at North Penn High School in Lansdale.

The mission of the festival is to celebrate the richness and diversity of our community and all the different cultures it represents. The festivities including art, music, food and educational activities will run until 5 p.m.

Dead Band at Troubles End Brewing

 

On Friday, Apr. 25, 9 p.m., Grateful Dead tribute band, the Dead Band, will be rocking Troubles End Brewing in Collegeville.

‘Bridgerton’ Drag Trivia Night with Kali Coutour

 

On Wednesday, Apr. 23, 7 p.m., come out for a fun night of Bridgerton trivia and prizes at Gypsy Blu in Ambler.

Bridgerton Drag Trivia Night with Kali Coutour will include 3 rounds of trivia, themed prizes and food and themed drink menus.

Coastal Spring: A Spanish Wine Tasting

 

On Wednesday, Apr. 23, 6:30 p.m., enjoy wines from the Spanish coast at Coastal Spring: A Spanish Wine Tasting by the Sea Dinner at the Iron Abbey in Horsham.
