Philadelphia Police are investigating the death of a former Milford Township man and U.S. Coast Guard veteran as a homicide.
Adam J. Bruzgo, 49, of Philadelphia, formerly of Hollins Lane in Milford, was identified as the deceased following a fight near the Live! Casino Hotel in South Philadelphia on April 3, according to 6abc.com.
Bruzgo was found unresponsive at 8:23 a.m. in a parking lot at 900 Packer Ave., police said. He was pronounced dead at Jefferson Hospital at 9:15 a.m., per the report.
There were no weapons recovered, police said. The Homicide Unit is handling the investigation, per the report.

Bruzgo was the son of John and Sophie (Bielawiec) Bruzgo, according to his obituary. He graduated Neshaminy High School and went on to serve in the U.S. Coast Guard.
From there, Bruzgo, a country music fan, began a career as a commercial truck driver. He was an avid fisherman, loved the Tennessee Titans, and his favorite movie was “Dumb and Dumber,” according to his obituary.
“He was pretty much unbeatable when it came to the video game, Madden Football. Animals have always been drawn to Adam, which is understandable given his kind and caring nature,” said his obituary.
Bruzgo is survived by his brother, Michael, nephews Mason and Grant Bruzgo, sister Elizabeth (Joseph) Parylak and nieces Hannah and Ashley Parylak.
A viewing will be held at the C.R. Strunk Funeral Home, Inc., 821 West Broad Street, Quakertown, on Saturday, from 9:30 a.m. until 11:30 a.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will begin at 12:30 p.m. inside the Cemetery Chapel at The National Shrine of Our Lady of Czestochowa, 654 Ferry Road, Doylestown. Interment will follow in the parish cemetery.
