A Hilltown Township man has been arrested and charged by Warrington Township Police with numerous child sex offenses related to a January 2016 incident that occurred in the Willow Knoll area of the township.
Gary R. McCunney, 67, of Canary Road, formerly of East Fifth Street in Lansdale Borough, was charged Monday by authorities with felony counts of involuntary deviate sexual intercourse with a child, aggravated indecent assault of a child, and indecent assault of a person under 13, and misdemeanor corruption of minors, according to charging documents.
Police said the Warrington Polcie Department Criminal Investigation Division uncovered underage sex crimes allegedly committed by McCunney.
McCunney remains at Bucks County jail on 10% of $300,000 cash bail. A preliminary hearing is scheduled for April 21 at 9 a.m. before Magisterial District Judge Stacy Wertman.
