A woman extradited from Miami on charges of felony forgery, receiving stolen property, theft and identify theft filed by Central Bucks Regional Police waived them all at a preliminary hearing last week to Bucks County Common Pleas Court.
Gisela Rosalin Crichlow, 25, of the 10000 block of SW 172nd Street, also waived a misdemeanor charge of writing bad checks to county court as well.
Crichlow, along with defendant Andy Javar Salas-Martinez, 24, also of Miami, is accused of a scheme involving the cashing of fraudulent checks belonging to a New Britain Borough resident in October 2024.
Authorities allege Crichlow and her accomplice forged and cashed four fraudulent checks totaling $16,500 from the account of a victim of Carousel Circle. The checks were cashed in Miami and Hialeah, FL, police said.
Salas-Martinez was arrested in Miami-Dade County on Christmas Eve. There is no word regarding his extradition to Pennsylvania. He is charged with three felony counts each of forgery, theft, identity theft and receiving stolen property, as well as three misdemeanor counts of writing bad checks, according to court documents.
A fugitive declaration for Salas-Martinez was filed by the court on March 26, according to the court docket.
