Warminster Township is pleased to announce the addition of a new, energy-efficient roof to its Police Department building. A full roof replacement was needed for the station’s 40-year-old roof, due to interior and exterior damage, age and frequent leaks during rain, ice and snow storms.
In addition to the new roof, new insulation was installed which will help the police building’s HVAC systems run more efficiently and reduce heating and cooling costs. The cost of the project was $160,000.
“Having a new roof will be a big help to us, eliminating the frequent leaks over our workstations and keeping the building temperature consistent throughout,” said Warminster Township Police Chief James C. Donnelly III. “We appreciate the investment in our building to keep our officers safe and comfortable.”
