Pedestrian, 38, struck and killed on Easton Road in front of ambulance HQ Monday night

The victim's identity in the Warrington Township accident is being withheld pending next of kin notification

A 38-year-old Hispanic man was hit and killed Monday night on Easton Road in Warrington Township, police said Tuesday morning.

The victim’s identity is being withheld pending notification of next of kin.

Police said the victim crossed Route 611 during heavy rain, at night, where there was no crosswalk.

At 8:25 p.m. Monday, Warrington Police responded to a pedestrian struck in front of Warrington Ambulance, near Park Road.

Police said the driver of a Subaru Tribeca hit the man, who was in the middle of the roadway. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

The driver of the Subaru remained at the scene and is cooperating with authorities.

The Bucks County District Attorney's Office Crash Investigation Team is assisting with the case.

Easton Road was closed in both directions for three hours between Oxford Drive and Park Road.
