A Delaware County man has been arrested and charged with misdemeanor charges of criminal trespassing, filing a false report of child abuse to police, failing a false report of an offense that did not occur, and harassment for allegedly entering a home on Reliance Court without permission.
Hilltown Police announced last week that Richard Michael Szlavik, 37, of Wayne, was arrested on March 15 on the trespassing charge. Then, two days later he was served with two arrest warrants for violating the order and for filing false reports of child abuse and harassment, police allege.
Szlavik was taken into custody March 25 by Montgomery County Sheriffs and jailed in Bucks County on 10% of $50,000 cash bail, per court documents. A preliminary hearing is set for April 22 at 1:15 p.m. before Magisterial District Judge Regina Armitage.
All suspects and defendants are innocent until proven guilty. This story was compiled using public court records.
