  • Things To Do

The Quakertown Borough Parks and Recreation Department is excited to announce that it will be taking the reins of the beloved annual Halloween Parade, previously hosted by the Lions Club. After working closely with the Lions Club to ensure a smooth transition, our team is ready to carry on this cherished community tradition while adding our own creative touches to make this year's parade an unforgettable experience.

The 55th Annual Quakertown Halloween Parade will take place on Sunday, October 20th starting at 2:00pm. We are committed to preserving the spirit of the parade, celebrating the community, and bringing the Halloween excitement to life for all to enjoy.

Seeking Local Businesses and Community Involvement
To make this year’s event a success, we are inviting local businesses, organizations, and individuals to get involved. Whether you're interested in participating, sponsoring, or volunteering, there are plenty of ways to join the fun!

Participate in the Parade: We’re encouraging local businesses, community groups, sports teams, and individuals to be part of the action. Whether you'd like to walk in the parade, showcase your float, or roll out with a cool car, motorcycle, or even a monster truck, we want to see you there! Costumes, decorations, and creativity are encouraged as we come together to bring the Halloween spirit to Quakertown. We’re also welcoming performers, dancers, and musicians to showcase their talents along the parade route.

Become a Sponsor: Sponsoring the Halloween Parade is a great way to support the community and gain visibility for your business. Sponsorship perks include exclusive opportunities like kicking off the parade, having your logo featured on parade materials, announcements during the event, and your business logo displayed on event t-shirts.

Volunteer Opportunities: We’re looking for enthusiastic volunteers to help with tasks such as line-up, check-in, bucket brigade, and road assistance. Volunteering is a fantastic way to give back to the community and be part of the magic that makes this event possible.

Whether you participate, sponsor, or volunteer, your involvement helps ensure that the Halloween Parade continues to be a fun and meaningful event for our community.
