Emergency crews were called out to the 3300 block of the road just before 10:30 p.m. Wednesday night.
Emergency crews were called out to the 3300 block of Edison Furlong Road in Buckingham Township just before 10:30 p.m. Wednesday night after a vehicle struck a telephone pole.
Edison Furlong Road was closed between York and Pebble Hill roads after a vehicle accident left a telephone pole broken and leaning across the roadway. A dark colored KIA sedan could be seen being towed from the scene with moderate front end damage.
By James Short At least one person was transported from the scene to an area hospital with unknown injuries.
Buckingham Township Police were assisted at the scene by Central Bucks Emergency Medical Services, Midway Fire Company Fire Police, Doylestown Fire Company Fire Police, and Warwick Fire Company Fire Police.
