After three rescheduled events, the windy weather on Saturday finally got a lot calmer for a skydive.
A good thing too – at 90, Peter Juisto isn’t getting any younger and it was time for the Marine Corps veteran to fulfill a promise to himself.
The Vietnam veteran set an incredible goal for himself on Saturday afternoon at Pennridge Airport after overcoming significant health challenges.
He credited his local Planet Fitness for helping him regain his health and he promised that if he made it to 90, he would skydive.
This skydive was not only a celebration of Peter’s perseverance, but also a way for him to give back, as he’s using this milestone to raise funds for veterans experiencing homelessness.
