Check out a little rundown of events in the Central Bucks area for the next week – and have some fun!


Hilltown Township Vol. Fire Co. holds its annual fundraiser “Wines on the Hill” Saturday from noon to 6 p.m. at St. Peter’s Lutheran Church, 1530 Augsburg Dr., Hilltown. All proceeds from the event go to the fire company. The fundraising event is the largest project for the fire company, which serves citizens in Hilltown, New Britain, and Hatfield townships.

The festival features a variety of vineyards, craft breweries and distilleries. Live music, exhibitors, vendors and raffles can be enjoyed throughout the day.

Tommy Greene and Dickie Noles will make an appearance, as part of the Darren Daulton Foundation, from noon to 1:30 p.m. A silent auction at the event will have some autographed memorabilia donated from the Foundation.



Doylestown Township holds its free 4th Annual Fall Food Truck Festival takes place Saturday from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. at Central Park, 425 Wells Road, Doylestown. There will be a variety of food trucks, Warwick Farm Brewing, and family fun. Cherry Lane Band will play from 1:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. at the Thompson Performing Arts Series at the C&N Amphitheater.



Trimester Fit Body, 5 S. Main St., Doylestown, holds a Moms Night Out – Sips & Steps gathering at the TFB Studio at 6:30 p.m. Wednesday to walk from the studio to Font Hill. Attendees can bring a Stanley or other to-go cup and fill it up with your beverage of choice. Then, join the group in Doylestown for a bite to eat and drinks.



Bucks County Fish & Game Association holds a WILD REC – Archery event for children ages 6 and up Thursday morning at 11 at 1745 Turk Road in Doylestown. Tickets are $25 per child, with a discount after two children. WILD REC is a homeschool and nature kid sports and recreation club.



Miss this event? As if! The County Theater, Mercer Museum, and Fonthill Castle hold an outdoor screening of the 1995 classic “Clueless” Thursday at 7:30 p.m. on the green at the museum at 84 S. Pine St., Doylestown. Tickets are available through The County Theater. The ticket stub will score 10% off a meal at Jules Pizza.
