Calls for an “auto extrication” were made just before 5 p.m. on Sunday evening the Warrington Township.
According to emergency dispatch, the call was made for the need for first responders along Bristol Road, between Old New Road and Foley Road. Witnesses at the scene said that a man was working on a white, GMC pick-up truck, in front of his home, and was pinned under the vehicle when it fell from its jack.
Responding to the 3000 block of Bristol Road to assist at the incident was Warrington Community Ambulance Corps. and Warrington Township Fire Company.
The man’s condition was officially unknown, though some witnesses said he was later upright and walking around appearing unharmed. Emergency medical services was checking his condition after he was withdrawn from under the truck.
Traffic on Bristol is currently reduced to one lane between Old New Road and Foley Road. Caution is advised in the area.
