Police seek ID of elderly female who stole from two stores within 15 minutes

Central Bucks Regional Police Department is investigating two reports of theft that occurred within 15 minutes of one another committed by the same elderly female suspect.

Police are seeking the identity of an elderly white female with short, white straight hair cut above the ears, who was wearing a light-colored shirt or sweater, and carrying a large tan handbag, police said.

During both incidents, the suspect was accompanied by another woman, police said.

On Sept. 6, a velvet pillow cover, valued at $89, was stolen from C. Ferry Home in Doylestown, and a $33 Caspari glass towel holder was stolen from The Paper Unicorn in Doylestown, police said.
