Most Bucks County residents are well aware of the amazing fall foliage that surrounds us. But the “secret” is definitely getting out.
First, Priceline, which measures such rankings by the search volume data the website receives on the topic, noted that one of the top destinations throughout the country was Bucks County! Its “Experiences” section allows visitors to select the type of fun they want to have first, before selecting a location for it.
From there, Travel and Leisure called Bucks County the “No. 1 foliage destination in the U.S. for 2024.” While other locations were across the country, Bucks County was selected not only for its beautiful natural surroundings, but its quaint backdrops, offering visitors everything from historic covered bridges to a quick, 90-minute drive from Philadelphia or New York City for easy accessibility.
Now, Visit Bucks County has developed a guide called “Top 10 Ways to View Fall Foliage.” Designed to help leaf peepers experience the colorful scenery, the guide has a variety of options for those hoping to get the most from their visit.
You may be lucky enough to take these sights in from your own backyard. If you are hoping for a day trip or a Sunday drive to enjoy the colors, check out the resources linked above for some great tips!
