Central Bucks Regional Police are attempting to identify a suspect who assaulted someone at Wawa last month.
Police announced Thursday morning that the assault occurred on Aug. 16 at 5 p.m. at the store at 425 S. Main St. in Doylestown.
Police said the suspect – described as a middle-aged white male, wearing a blue T-shirt and black shorts – had a verbal exchange with the victim before the assault.
The suspect, police said, followed the victim and pushed them into a display rack, at which time the victim fought back and attempted to punch the suspect.
Several people separated the two, and moved the suspect outside the store, police said. The individual left in a gray Hyundai Santa Fe or Tucson, per the report.
