Warminster Township Police are investigating the death of a pedestrian that occurred early Friday morning on East Street Road.

Police responded at 6:08 a.m. to a report of a struck pedestrian in front of 220 East Street Road, and upon arrival, found an adult male lying unconscious in the westbound right-turn lane of Street Road at Johnsonville Boulevard, according to authorities.

Police said EMS was administered by Warminster Police and Central Bucks County EMS, but the man succumbed to his injuries at the scene.

The driver of the striking vehicle remained at the scene and is cooperating with the investigation, police said.

Eyewitness statements and further evidence suggested a second car, described as a gray or silver coupe, may have also hit the pedestrian while driving westbound on Street Road, police said.

The driver of the second vehicle may not be aware of their involvement in the incident, police said.

Call Detective Stephen Wojciechowski at 215-672-1000 at Warminster Township Police with any information on the crash.

Police have not released the name of the deceased pending next of kin notification.
