On Aug. 22, Warrington Police responded to Wegmans at 1405 Main Street for a report of a retail theft.

Loss prevention told police that Coleman and Gowen stole $116.53 worth of merchandise, but not before first stopping at the café to eat some of it, police said.

The two then concealed the rest of the merchandise and exited the store without paying, police said.

Police said both were placed under arrest and both were found to be in possession of narcotics and drug paraphernalia.

All suspects and defendants are innocent until proven guilty. This story was compiled using public court records.
