A Salford Township man and Hatfield Township auto garage owner who raped a young girl under 11 on multiple occasions in Bucks and Montgomery counties has been sentenced to 20 to 40 years in state prison.

Ross S. Colket, 53, of the 300 block of Clump Road, was sentenced on charges of attempted rape of a child, involuntary deviate sexual intercourse with a child, aggravated indecent assault, indecent assault, corruption of a minor and endangering the welfare of a child in connection with incidents that occurred on multiple occasions with a girl who was under the age of 13, according to court records.

It took the jury under one hour to come to a decision.

Colket raped the girl in Salford Township, Montgomery County, and Richlandtown, Bucks County, according to authorities. The victim was the daughter of a family friend.

Colket must also register for the rest of his lifetime as a sex offender and will have five years of probation following parole, totaling 45 years of court supervision, per The Reporter.

Bikers Against Child Abuse attended the sentencing hearing in support of the victim and her family.

The victim told Colket in court, per The Reporter: “You broke me in ways I can never explain. I have had to talk about everything I’ve been through in detail and I’ve relived this more than I would’ve liked to because of you. You are a sick, disgusting and twisted man who thinks that they can get away with abuse.”

Colket owned Colket Automotive Technical Services at 1513 N. Broad St. in Hatfield Township, located in a leased unit on the former Zeigler’s property.

All in all, the underage sexual deviant was facing 46 felonies, filed in February, by Salford Township Police.

According to The Reporter, the investigation began in September 2022, when the victim told her mother that she was inappropriately touched by Colket, per Pennsylvania State Police reports. Eventually, police discovered Colket abused the girl over a series of incidents, which included indecent touching and other sexual contact, per the report.

Colket told the victim, “It’s our little secret,” authorities said. However, the victim confided in two friends that Colket would “touch her weird” while with him, per The Reporter.
