An overturned vehicle sent one person to the hospital and slowed traffic late Monday morning and into lunch rush hour near the intersection of Palomino Drive and K Street in the Palomino Farms section of Warrington Township.
Police said the two-vehicle crash occurred at 11:40 a.m., when a red Ford Escort that was west on K Street, hit a white Chevrolet Express van stopped at a stop sign on Palomino Drive.
The Ford then continued into an embankment in front of a home on the 2200 block of Palmino Drive, police said.
Then, the Escort rolled onto its side, trapping the driver, police said.
Warrington Township Police Warrington Fire Co. and Warminster Fire Co. assisted at the scene, alongside Warrington Ambulance, police said.
The driver was removed from the car, and then taken to an area hospital for evaluation, police said.
