A Warminster man accused of stealing a $1,300 refrigerator from Home Depot in February has been arrested and charged last week by Warrington Township Police with felony counts of retail theft and receiving stolen property for an incident at Wegmans.
Police said Sean Thomas Beluch, 50, was also charged with driving with a revoked license.
On Aug. 30, police responded to Wegmans at 1405 Main Street for a report of a shoplifting in progress, police said.
Loss prevention told police Beluch had stolen $329.10 worth of groceries from the store, per the complaint.
Prior to police arrival, authorities allege Beluch left the parking lot and gave police a description of the vehicle, according to the affidavit. Police found Beluch’s car a short time later and stopped the car. He was placed under arrest and taken to police headquarters, where he was processed and released, police said.
In February, Beluch also had an active warrant out of Hilltown Township, per court records.
At present, the defendant has three active cases at the Bucks County and Montgomery County Common Pleas level, and, including this case, two active cases filed with two separate Bucks County Magisterial District Courts, per court records.
A preliminary hearing on the Warrington arrest is set for Sept. 23 at 9:45 a.m. before Magisterial District Judge Stacy Wertman in Bucks County.
Beluch has a preliminary hearing before Magisterial District Judge Christopher E. O’Neill on Sept. 30 at 1:15 p.m. for a June 2024 arrest on misdemeanor retail theft charges in Warminster Township, per court records, in which bail was set at $15,000 unsecured.
In Bucks County Common Pleas Court, Beluch awaits a pre-trial conference on a guilty plea on misdemeanor retail theft and receiving stolen property charges from Warrington Township Police from an alleged April 30, 2024 incident, per court records. In that case, he is free on $25,000 unsecured bail.
He also awaits a pre-trial conference set for Sept. 18 in Bucks County Common Pleas court stemming from a February 2024 arrest in Warrington Township on misdemeanor retail theft charges, according to court records.
All suspects and defendants are innocent until proven guilty. This story was compiled using public court records.
