A New York man is being held at the Bucks County Jail after police allege he impregnated a teen in Warminster Township
Elmer Bladimir Perez-Martinez, 22, of Copiague NY, sits in Bucks County jail on 10% of $300,000 cash bail after being charged by detectives with felony statutory sexual assault and misdemeanor indecent assault, per charging documents.
On Aug. 13, detectives began the investigation into the alleged sexual assault of a 14-year-old, according to an affidavit. The victim told police she was six weeks pregnant and Perez-Martinez was the father, police said. The two engaged in consensual sex, police allege, six times from February to May 2024.
On Aug. 20, police interviewed the accused and Perez-Martinez admitted, police allege, that he knew the victim was underage and believed the child was his.
A Nov. 18 preliminary hearing is scheduled at 2:30 p.m. before Magisterial District Judge Christopher E. O’Neill, according to court documents.
