Central Bucks Regional Police Department reported Thursday a 13-year-old Doylestown boy was arrested this week on felony burglary and misdemeanor offenses following an investigation of attempted forced entry into a home on Sept. 29 on New Tamenend Avenue in New Britain Borough.
The teenager is also charged with misdemeanor offenses of property crimes and prowling, and summary criminal trespass and disorderly conduct, police said.
Police allege the juvenile kicked the front door of an occupied home several times at 5:30 a.m. and then left the scene.
Damage to the front door jamb was estimated at $1,692, police said.
A juvenile allegation has been filed with the court, police said.
