Man injured by machete in head, arm in road rage incident Thursday morning, police say

A man was injured in the head and arm with a machete during a road rage incident Thursday morning on County Line Road in New Britain Township.

Police said both individuals and witnesses are being interviewed Thursday to determine what charges will be filed.

Police said New Britain Township officers were dispatched at 7:45 a.m. to the incident involving two males fighting in the middle of County Line Road near Manor Drive.

Upon arrival, police found two men fighting and struggling with one another over a machete, police said.

The two men were separated and one suffered cuts to his temple and arm, per the report. The other individual was detained by police.

The injured man was taken by VMSC Emergency Medical Services to Grand View Hospital for treatment of non life-threatening injuries, police said.

The scene was cleared by 8:30 a.m.

New Britain Township Police were assisted by Montgomery Township Police.
