You can reckon, in yonder time, there may be a time to round up the little ones for some good eats and fixings in Warminster.
Golden Corral, a national buffet restaurant chain, announced Warminster Heights, a census-designated place in Warminster Township, as a future location for a potential restaurant.
According to The Mercury, the 51-year-old chain operates more than 350 restaurants in 39 states and Puerto Rico and is currently in expansion mode.
Golden Corral, per the report, identified 400 future markets across the country, with 17 of them in Pennsylvania, including Warminster Heights in Bucks County.
There are six Golden Corrals in operation in Pennsylvania, including Bensalem. Per the report, the company has opened five this year and plans to open another 10 in 2025.
Per the article, Golden Corral Chief Development Officer David Conklin reported that the restaurant likes to open new locations in areas with “active restaurant and retail activity and strong local employment.”
For its larger building footprints, Golden Corral looks for areas with 120,000 people within a 15-minute drive, and 70,000 people within the same distance for its smaller restaurants.
“We don’t have a national buffet competitor — we’re the biggest buffet team out there. We have a great culture and relationship with our franchisees and we have great sales results. We have a media presence that is creating pent-up demand and we offer a great value for our guests,” Conklin said in the report.
