What is there to say. A Phillies season that began with so much promise is over after four playoff games. They've gone from World Series losers to NLCS losers to NLDS losers in three years.
There will be plenty of time to discuss what this club needs to do moving forward. But for now, just let those emotions flow...
Phillies were up 3 games to 2 in the NLCS last year.
Since then, they have lost 5 of 6 playoff games.
They scored a total of 8(!) runs in those 5 losses.
We can talk bullpen, manager, etc. But bottom line: you have no chance with that offensive output.
The Phillies wasting the career of the best pitcher in this decade will be the worst part of the last 3 years.
Most disappointing part. pic.twitter.com/vij352id2z
Three straight years with essentially the same Phillies core
2022- WS loss
2023- NLCS loss
2024 NLDS loss
We were told last offseason no big moves happened because they didn’t want to mess with the team chemistry.
THERE BETTER BE AN EXPLOSION THIS OFFSEASON
Two postseasons in a row, teams told the Phillies that they knew how to beat them and the Phillies made zero effort to counter. Instead, they moped. The book's out and they're the only ones who haven't read it.

The Mets once trailed the Phillies by 17.5 games in the standings this season.
Tonight, they eliminated the Phillies in the NLDS.
Phillies can’t even go to Cancun cuz of the hurricane they’re gonna have to vacation at the fucking Schuylkill River
Phillies hitters outside of Bryce Harper and Nick Castellanos in the NLDS:

Phillies will be back next year but this loss feels like an end of an era
There will be big changes. The vibes will be different next year.
The last 3 years were awesome. Red October, Bedlam, Rhys spike, the World Series, Castellanos and Schwarber HRs
Sucks it’s over
Phillies in the NLDS: .186/.295/.302

Jeff Hoffman has a 40.50 ERA this postseason.
Just ahead of Matt Strahm (36.00) and Jose Alvarado (27.00). #Phillies
I feel sick to my stomach.
Guess I’ll try take in my first Sixers/Flyers game at the end of October when in Philly.
My overarching feeling right now is I truly don’t know where the Phillies go from here.
