Vehicle fire shuts down 611 North Monday evening

A vehicle fire has closed northbound Route 611 in Doylestown Township Monday evening.

Doylestown Township Police advised motorists find an alternate route, as Route 611 North is closed at State Street due to a Hyundai that caught fire around 4:45 p.m. 

Doylestown Police is assisted at the scene by Doylestown Fire Co. Central Bucks EMS has also been called to the northbond Route 611, south of West State Street, for an emergency transport, according to Bucks County EMS radio.
