The Bucks County Fire Chief’s and Firefighter’s Memorial Committee and Bucks County Commissioners invite the public to attend the annual Bucks County Fallen Firefighter’s Memorial Service on Sunday at 10 a.m. in the memorial courtyard of the Bucks County Administration Building in Doylestown. The name of Paramedic Thomas J. Evans, a Newtown EMS and Squad 145 member, who died in the line of duty on Oct. 16, 2023 will be added to the memorial. A reception follows at Station 19 on Shewell Avenue.


Mercer Museum and Fonthill Castle hold a 2024 Cocktails at the Castle event at 84 South Pine Street, Doylestown on Saturday from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m. The musueum’s major annual fundraiser benefits its year-round education, exhibition and community initiatives.


VAMPA Vampire & Paranormal Museum, paranormal investigator Eric Mintel, and The County Theater have teamed up to show “Paranormal Pickers” web series at the theater at 20 E. State St., Doylestown on Friday at 9:30 p.m. The web series follows Ed Crimi, an expert antiques collector and proprietor of the VAMPA Museum, and Mintel as they embark on a journey to discover haunted treasures and the stories behind them. The event will feature the two-part premiere and there will be a Q&A afterward.


Sandyard Beach Volleyball, 123 S. Main St., Doylestown, holds a Coed Beach Volleyball event from 6 p.m. to 11 p.m. Pay $40 a team, grab three great players and have fun.
