Emergency dispatch in Bucks County has requested the assistance of first responders at the scene of an vehicular accident in Warrington Township on Wednesday afternoon.
According to dispatch, units from Chalfont and Warrington fire companies were requested at Stump Road and Statesman Road for an auto extrication around 12:31 p.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 27.
Those at the scene reported that an extrication was successful around 12:45 pm., though the condition of the driver was not released. The person was taken by ambulance and transported to a hospital for medical care.
The incident appeared to be a single-vehicle accident with a single entrapped person, according to those at the scene. A small, white four-door car was resting on its passenger’s side. It appears as though the vehicle struck a pole.
Warrington Police assisted at the scene, along with other first responders. At this time, Stump Road is closed between Billingsley and Limekiln Pike. Drivers are asked to avoid the area.
A pole is snapped at the scene, and wires are in the roadway. First responders have said it may take some time to clear the scene and restore safety in the vicinity.
