Jeep flips on side, injured woman found nearby after Monday night crash

One woman was transported from the scene by area EMS personnel to Grand View Hospital with suspected trauma after she was found about a mile from the scene of a one-vehicle crash on the 5600 block of Haring Road in Plumstead Township Monday night. 

Shortly before 7:30 p.m., Point Pleasant Fire Co. and Plumstead Police were called to a report of a single-vehicle accident involving a light-colored Jeep on its side, off the roadway against a hill, per Montgomery County emergency dispatch.

The injured woman was found about a mile away at the Curly Hill Road intersection, where authorities confirmed her involvement in the accident, per reports.

The vehicle was unoccupied when it was discovered, authorities reported.

Plumsteadville Fire Police are assisting at the scene.
