A man and woman from Glenside have each been charged with two counts of felony retail theft and receiving stolen property for allegedly switching barcodes on merchandise at the Warrington Target on two occasions, thus costing the store more than $1,600 in losses.

Warrington Police issued warrants for Edward Lehner, 33,  and Angelica Benetz, 28, on Sept. 18, police said. On that day, police met with loss prevention at Target at 401 Easton Road, who told them that Benetz and Lehner entered the store on Sept. 1 and Sept. 14, and on both occasions were seen switching barcodes for a loss of $679.96 and $711.47, respectively, police said.

Lehner was arraigned and released on unsecured bail on Oct. 25, according to court records. Benetz was stopped by Montgomery Township Police on Sunday and arrested, police said.

Benetz was arraigned and jailed on $15,000 cash bail at Bucks County.

All suspects and defendants are innocent until proven guilty. This story was compiled using public court records.
