Police are investigating a recent act of vandalism at Sauerman Park at 46 Sauerman Road, that resulted in damage to newly-planted saplings. Stakes and deer guards installed to protect the young trees were taken off, and some saplings were scattered about the area, police said.

“We are reaching out to the public for assistance in this matter. If you have any information about the incident, no matter how small it may seem, we urge you to come forward. Your help is crucial in bringing those responsible to justice and preventing future acts of vandalism in our community,” police said. “We appreciate your cooperation and commitment to keeping our community beautiful.
