A Dublin man hiding out in the borough has been nabbed on a New Jersey warrant and has been extradited thanks to one alert officer.
Dublin Borough Police said John Shaw, 45, was a fugitive from justice on a New Jersey warrant. Shaw absconded from the Garden State in 2023 after removing an ankle monitor while on parole for a sex offense, police said.
An alert Dublin Borough officer arrested Shaw on Nov. 8 after he acted on information that Shaw may be living in the Dublin area, police said.
Shaw was arraigned by Magisterial District Judge Gary Gambardella and sent to Bucks County jail for extradition to New Jersey, per court records.
