Trash truck fire closes southbound Easton Road Wednesday afternoon

An EnviroGreen trash truck has caught fire at Easton and Almshouse roads in Doylestown Township Wednesday afternoon.

Doylestown Fire Co. and Doylestown Township Police responded quickly to the scene and were knocking down the fire by 4:50 p.m.

Southbound Easton Road is closed at Almshouse Road. Find an alternate route. 

There are no reported injuries. A cause of the fire is unknown at this time.
