SHOP WITH A COP

Help spread cheer and donate to Warrington Police's 'Shop With a Cop' event next month

Police will be hosting its 7th annual event at the Walmart Supercenter in Warrington.

Warrington Township Police is asking the public to donate to its 7th Annual Shop With A Cop event next month.

The event takes place at Walmart Supercenter in Warrington Township. During the Shop with a Cop, officers volunteer their time to shop with elementary school students who live in the township and attend Barclay, Mill Creek and Titus elementary schools.

Officers help children select and purchase holiday gifts for their family members and something special for themselves too.

Those who wish to make the holiday season a bit more magical for families in need, can drop off at or mail a donation to Warrington Township Police Department, 2330 Lower Barness Road, Warrington PA 18976.

Checks can be made payable to “Warrington Township Police Benevolent Association,” with “Shop with a Cop” in the memo field.

All donations for the event will be used for Shop with a Cop and will be used to continue funding the event in future years.

Police said it worked with the school district to identify families in need. Further support is supplemented by grants and donations to help pay for gifts.
