A Warrington Township man is accused of holding down a victim while beating them in the head during an argument.

Otar Kartlelishvili, 42, of Easton Road, was arrested and arraigned Thursday on aggravated assault, misdemeanor simple assault and harassment, police said.

On Thursday, police responded to a fight on Easton Road, where the victim reported they slapped Kartlelishvili twice in the face, which enraged him, police said. Kartlelishvili then allegedly hit the victim multiple times with an open hand and closed fist, causing the victim to fall on the ground.

He allegedly continued to hit the victim in the head repeatedly while kneeling on top of them. The victim suffered swelling and bruising to the side of their face and eye and a bloody nose, police said

Kartlelishvili remains at Bucks County jail on 10% of $50,000 cash bail, according to court records. A preliminary hearing is scheduled for Dec. 2 at 9:30 a.m. before Magisterial District Judge Stacy Wertman.

All suspects and defendants are innocent until proven guilty. This story was compiled using public court records.
