Two-car crash closes intersection Monday afternoon

A two-vehicle accident at the intersection of South Ridge Road and Old Bethlehem Pike on the border of West and East Rockhill townships closed the intersection briefly Monday afternoon.

The accident in front of The Horse Tavern in West Rockhill Township involved a Lincoln sedan and a GMC SUV. Both vehicles sustained front-end damage, and came to rest next to one another in a ditch off Old Bethlehem Pike at the intersection. 

There were no reported injuries.

Ridge Road was closed at Bethlehem Pike and Old Bethlehem Pike was closed at South Ridge Road in East Rockhill. 

Pennridge Regional Police responded to the scene.
