The driver of a Honda Civic will be charged with traffic control signal violations following a two-vehicle crash with injuries Sunday night in Hilltown Township.

Police said the Civic was north on Route 113, when it collided with a Jeep Wrangler that was traveling west on Diamond Street at the intersection.

After the initial impact, the Civic continued into a tree at the northwest corner of the intersection, police said. It came to rest off the roadway, alongside a shed near the intersection, per reports from the scene.

A 41-year-old man from Buckingham Township was taken to Grand View Hospital via Chal-Brit Ambulance for treatment of injuries, police said. Other individuals in the crash sought medical evaluation on their own, according to authorities.

The intersection was not closed, police said, and the scene was cleared by 6:15 p.m.

Silverdale Fire Department assisted Hilltown Township Police at the scene.
