Jazz Hot and Cool with the Jack Saint Clair Orchestra

Penn State Abington’s Sutherland Auditorium will play host to Jazz Hot and Cool with the Jack Saint Clair Orchestra on Wednesday, Nov. 13 from 7 to 9 p.m. The 17-piece ensemble will perform a free concert, open to the public, said to be “inspired by the big band sound, but reconfigured in a modern context.” RSVP to the event by clicking here.

“Little Women” at Village Players of Hatboro

The Village Players of Hatboro will perform “Little Women,” a play based on the Louisa May Alcott book, adapted by Kate Hamill. Performances are slated for Nov. 8, 9, 15,16, 22, and 23, all at 8 p.m. On Nov. 10 and 17, two matinee performances will begin at 2 p.m. Tickets are $20 per person, and all seating is general admission picked up via Will Call. Teen Board Game Night

If you are already sick of hearing “but there’s nothing else to do,” from your teens looking for some fun (perhaps off of the video game console or phone), you’re in luck. The Wissahickon Valley Public Library is hosting Teen Board Game Night on Thursday, Nov. 14 from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. at its Ambler location, 209 Race St., in Ambler. Pizza will be served at the event, while teens get the chance to learn new strategy board games from a skilled gamer. The event is for those ages 12 to 18. Admission is free, though reservations are required. You can register online here.

Harlem Wizards Coming to Collegeville

Perkiomen Valley School District Foundation hosts The Harlem Wizards at Perkiomen Valley High School, 509 Gravel Pike, on Saturday, Nov. 16 at 6:30 p.m. Doors open at 5:30 p.m. Children 3 and under are free. Tickets start at $15 and can be purchased online.

Holiday Craft Market Shopping Time

The 37th annual North Penn Holiday Craft Market, sponsored by the North Penn International Friendship Committee, returns with more than 95 exhibitors Saturday, Nov. 16 from 9:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. at North Penn High School, 1340 Valley Forge Road, Lansdale. Admission is $6 and proceeds benefit the high school’s exchange student program. A listing of craft artists can be found at www.northpennifc.org. The event will also have juried traditional and contemporary crafts, a homemade luncheon, and free parking.

Double Headliner and Funny Fundraiser at The Comedy Cabaret

Harmony Retreat & Animal Rescue hosts A Funny Fundraiser Friday at 8:30 p.m. at Poco’s Restaurant, Bar & Comedy Cabaret, 625 N. Main St., Doylestown, with comedians Wayne Cotter and Sandy Ehlers. Tickets can be purchased here.
