A three-vehicle accident on Tuesday night left vehicles at rest along SEPTA train tracks, according to reports. A call came into emergency services at 8:44 p.m. on July 30, at Park Avenue and Street Road in Warminster.
Involved in the accident was a brown, Nissan SUV, which sustained heavy front and driver-side damage. Its airbags did deploy, according to those at the scene. A second vehicle, a dark-colored Honda Odyssey, sustained heavy front-end damage, and its airbags also deployed. A third vehicle had been removed from the scene by tow truck prior to Central Bucks Now coverage arrival.
Dispatch did notify SEPTA and the Ivyland Railway about the vehicles that sat on the tracks. Police were at the scene, searching the vehicles with flashlights. They also deployed a police-operated drone to document the accident.
Both lanes of Street Road were closed from Louis Drive to Park Avenue while authorities documented and cleared the scene.
Responding to the accident were Warminster Township Police Department, the Warminster Fire Department, Warminster Fire Police, and Central Bucks Emergency Medical Service 174.
