Michael Cerino, formerly the director of the food bank, will become the organization’s executive director.
Warminster Food Bank, a nonprofit organization that helps alleviate food insecurity for thousands of individuals and families in Bucks and Montgomery Counties has announced several leadership and personnel changes this week.
Michael Cerino, formerly the director of the food bank, will become the organization’s executive director. In this role, he will be responsible for legal and financial agreements as the officer of record, state and federal tax filings, grants, all operational compliance regulations, as well as public relations and donor development. In addition, Cerino will become the president of the Warminster Rotary Club.
Brian Foedisch, formerly the associate director, will become director of operations. In this role, Foedisch’s primary duties will be managing the food bank’s inventory and supply chain.
Karen (Casey) Bauer will become director of guest services, overseeing policies and procedures for assisting the organization’s guests. Bauer also will manage and coordinate the volunteers, as well as collaborate with and direct the schedulers and office managers. Her background is in social work and that, according to Cerino, makes her “uniquely qualified” to be director of guest services.
“Our collective vision, mission, and passion, has made our food bank an amazing community service enterprise,” said Cerino. “Our 2023-24 fiscal revenue is over $700,000 (food and monetary), while remaining a 100 percent volunteer run organization now and for the years to come. I have complete confidence that Brian and Casey will maintain that same level of excellence.”
The Warminster Food Bank is a 501c3 organization that provides food to people in need in the Bucks and Montgomery counties.
