A 43-year-old man from Chalfont was killed Tuesday morning when his 2020 Kawasaki Ninja motorcycle collided with truck and an SUV at the intersection of County Line Road and Limekiln Pike.

Montgomery Township Police were dispatched at 8:53 a.m. to the intersection for a report of a vehicle collision involving a truck and a motorcycle. Police said an investigation revealed there was a third vehicle involved in the crash.

Police said the motorcyclist was eastbound on County Line Road headed in the direction of Limekiln Pike.

A 2002 Ford F-550, driven by a 57-year-old man from Doylestown, attempted to turn left onto Limekiln Pike and the motorcycle collided with the rear passenger side of the vehicle, police said.

The motorcycle spun off the Ford and hit the passenger side front corner of a 2001 Chevrolet Tahoe, driven by a 34-year-old man from Huntingdon Valley, police said.

The investigation revealed that the motorcycle was traveling eastbound on County Line Road towards Limekiln Pike. The Ford was traveling westbound on County Line Road in the left turn lane, with the Chevrolet directly behind it.

The cause of the collision remains under investigation.

Police did not release the name of the deceased as of Wednesday.
