A Warrington Township man has been charged by police and Bucks County detectives with felony drug possession and drug dealing charges after being caught numerous times selling methamphetamine during controlled purchases.

Ryan Patrick Miller, 31, of the 100 block of Basswood Court, was charged Wednesday with criminal use of a communication device, possession of a controlled substance with intent to deliver, possession of a controlled substance, and possession of drug paraphernalia, according to charging documents.

In August, Warrington Township Police were notified by Bedminster Township Police that they were working on a narcotics investigation involving Miller, who was allegedly selling meth in and around Bucks County, according to the affidavit.

Police said an officer communicated with Miller via Facebook exclusively and began messaging him regarding purchasing various narcotics. On Oct. 16, authorities coordinated a controlled purchase from Miller via Facebook Messenger for an eighth of an ounce, or “eight ball,” of methamphetamine for $90, police said.

Miller met the undercover officer at the 7-Eleven at 1483 West Street Road in Warminster Township, police said. After the successful controlled buy, police said the baggie containing the suspected meth was marked “3.5” with a red marker.

Inside the baggie, police found a coffee filter and another baggie that was rolled up, with crushed white crystals inside, police said.

The controlled buys for the same amount of meth continued for two more occasions, on Nov. 25 and Dec. 16, at the same meetup, detectives said.

Police said presumptive testing of the narcotics yielded a positive identification for methamphetamine.

On Dec. 18, at 4 p.m., authorities from Bucks County Narcotics, Bucks County Detectives and Warrington Police executed a search warrant at Miller’s home, where he was detained, police said.

The search found $30 cash, a baggie with seven circular blue pills labeled “A67,” a baggie with chunky white crystal substances consistent with the appearance of methamphetamine, a digital scale labeled “Mystery Smoke” with white residue, according to the affidavit.

Miller is free on $50,000 unsecured bail and has a preliminary hearing scheduled for Jan. 27 at 9:15 a.m. before Magisterial District Judge Stacy Wertman, per court records.

All suspects and defendants are innocent until proven guilty. This story was compiled using public court records.
