There is always something fun to do when you tune into This Week Now. And, while most of us are preparing for a busy holiday week, there’s still plenty of offerings in and around your neighborhood. Check out these great events near you!

A Wicked Workshop

The Phoenix Arts dance studio in Blue Bell will host a theater, dance, and art class entitled “Wicked Workshop” on Monday, Dec. 23. If you have a child enthralled with the recently released movie, this event is certainly for them! The workshop runs from 10 a.m. to noon, and the cost is $50. Miss Donna will host those ages 5 and up, teaching proper theater skills in performing with this educational workshop. The studio is located at 1680 Skippack Pike in Blue Bell. Mr. Jim Story Time

The Union Library Company in Hatboro will play host to the Mr. Jim Story Time on Friday, Dec. 27 from 10:30 to 11:30 a.m. All ages are welcome to this free event which does not require a reservation. Photos with The Grinch

The Grinch will be taking over the Philly Photo Spot to allow for children and families to take photos with him on Thursday, Dec. 26 through Friday Dec. 29. For $50, the sessions will include five digital images, with prints available for purchase. Groups of five or more people are asked to book a session back-to-back with their friends or family. The Philly Photo spot is located at the Willow Grove Mall, 2500 W. Moreland Road, in Willow Grove. Tickets can be purchased ahead of time online here.

Hanukkah Menorah Lighting

The public is invited to attend the annual Hanukkah Menorah Lighting at Railroad Plaza in Lansdale, on Dec. 26 at 6 p.m. The community is welcome to enjoy music, crafts, food, and fun with this even open to all faiths. For more information on the lighting, email [email protected].

Esports Day Off School Camp

On Dec. 23 from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., the Warminster branch of the YMCA will host a Roblox Tech Adventures day off of school camp. Promising an “action-packed day,” the students will build, create, and explore the world of Roblox with other friends, learning technology and coding behind the game they already love. Students can register online here. Cost for those with a membership is $55, while it is $65 for nonmembers.

A Winemaker’s Tour

Evansburg Vineyards will host a Winemaker’s Tour on Thursday, Dec. 28 from noon to 1 p.m. The hour-long tour will allow those 21 and over to enjoy a tour of the vineyard, an overview of the winemaking process, and a chance to learn more about the lab analysis of wine during its fermentation and maturation. The tour ends with a relaxing wine tasting and a free souvenir at its close. You can select tickets online here. The Evansburg Vineyards are located at 2857 Germantown Pike in Collegeville. Karaoke at Ram’s Pizza Tavern

The Ram’s Pizza Tavern, located at 25 E. Broadway Ave., in Clifton Heights, Delaware County, will host open Karaoke on Monday, Dec. 23 from 8 p.m. to midnight. The kitchen remains open until midnight, as well. You can even reserve a space online here. For more information, call 610-553-6406.
