Police also recognized the tireless efforts of volunteers behind-the-scenes and the donors whose generous contributions made the holidays brighter for area youth and their families.

"Thank you for helping us bring joy and foster meaningful connections between law enforcement and our community," police said in a news release.

Police thanked Randall and his Walmart team for going above and beyond to host the event. Hickory Stick Ice Cream also showed up to treat children to sweet delights on their way out of the store, police said.

Jersey Girl Hot Sauce also helped police extend gratitude to the volunteers..

"Together, we made a lasting impact and brightened the holidays for so many," police said. "Thank you for being a part of this meaningful tradition. Here's to building an even stronger community, one act of kindness at a time."
